Ocean Spray Cranberries Appoints Chief Global Growth Officer and Makes Several Changes to Executive Team
Food and Beverage Veteran Bobby Chacko joins farmer-owned Cooperative to lead global marketing, innovation and strategic initiatives.

LAKEVILLE MIDDLEBORO, MASS. (September 20, 2017) Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., a farmer-owned cooperative and the global leader in cranberry products and ingredients, today announced Bobby Chacko has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Global Growth Officer. Chacko will oversee Ocean Spray's Global Marketing, Insights, and Innovation teams and report directly to Ocean Spray's President and Chief Executive Officer Randy Papadellis.

Bobby's track record in the global food and beverage industry speaks for itself, said Papadellis. While traditionally a strong North American business, Ocean Spray is poised for significant global growth, and Bobby's unique experience reshaping brands and developing innovation strategies in multiple markets and categories will accelerate that.

Prior to joining Ocean Spray, Chacko served as Regional President of Mars Drinks where he had complete responsibility for the North American business. Prior to that role, he served as the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Mars Drinks.

Before joining Mars Inc., Chacko had 20 years of diverse corporate leadership and entrepreneurship experiences, encompassing Strategy, Innovation, Marketing, and commercialization with iconic brands in category leading companies like The Coca-Cola Company, AB Inbev, and GE Capital. Chacko brings in-market general management experiences and regional perspectives on developed and emerging markets across Asia, Latin America, North America and Europe.

The promotion of Daniel Crocker to Senior Vice President, Chief Customer Officer. In this newly created role, Crocker will lead a global customer team that brings Ocean Spray's broad portfolio of both branded products and value-added ingredients to over 150 markets around the world. Crocker has been with the Cooperative for a decade and previously served as Vice President of Cooperative Development & Global Ingredients, which included leading the Agricultural Operations, Grower Relations, Strategy, and Communications groups.

Tara Levine has been appointed Vice President of Corporate Strategy. A ten-year veteran of Ocean Spray, she most recently served as Vice President and Managing Director of Ocean Spray's Europe, Middle East, and Africa business based in London. In her new role, Levine will oversee Corporate Strategy including M&A and long range planning as well as e-Commerce, Communications, and Health Strategy.

Peter Wyman has assumed the role of SVP, Cooperative Development. In this role, Wyman will oversee Grower Relations, Agricultural Supply Strategy, Government Relations and Sustainability. Wyman, a 25-year veteran of Ocean Spray, most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Global Business Development.

Crocker, Levine, Wyman will also report to Papadellis.
